Pricing Questions

When do I pay?

Only when you hire. Searching and interviewing are free. With direct hire you pay a one-time fee of 25% of first-year salary. With a contract, TeamEx’s fee is 25% of your monthly bill, which is included in the price you pay each month.

Is searching really free?

Yes. Search, shortlist and request interviews without paying anything. There is no subscription and no annual contract.

What is the difference between direct hire and contract?

With direct hire the engineer joins your payroll and you pay a one-time fee. With a contract the engineer works with your team on contract and TeamEx’s fee is 25% of your monthly bill: the engineer’s rate is the other 75%. On a $10,000 rate you pay $13,333 a month. In both cases you interview and negotiate directly.

What if it doesn’t work out?

Both options include a 90-day free replacement.
